behind the scenes: product photography with technical camera
This blog post features my latest product photograph called „pink Make-up“. In addition it allows you to take a look behind the scenes. As you can see to create this image a quite unusual camera had been used. This unique camera is called “technical camera” it gives the photographer full control about the positioning of the focal plain. In Most cameras the film and lens plain are parallel and everything in the same distance to the Film plain is sharp. But in technical cameras the Lens Plain and the Film Plain are attached flexible and can be shifted, tilted and swung. Thereby the focal plain can be placed everywhere in the image. As a wedding and portrait photographer I hardly ever use technical cameras. But for product photography they are quite useful.

hinter den Kulissen: Produktfotografie mit einer Fachkamera
In diesem Blog-Post möchte ich Euch das Produkt-Foto „pink Make-up“ zeigen. Ich habe einige Bilder, die Euch einen Blick hinter die Kulissen erlauben, hinzugefügt. Damit Ihr eine Vorstellung davon bekommt, wie „pink Make-up“ entstanden ist. Zum erstellen dieses Produktfotos, habe ich eine Fachkamera benutzt. Mit dieser speziellen Kamera kann die Objektivebene unabhängig von der Film/Sensor Ebene bewegt werden. Durch das kippen, verschieben, anheben, verwinkeln der beiden Ebenen, kann die (normalerweise parallel zum Sensor verlaufende) Schärfenebene im Bild beliebig platziert werden. Dies sorgt für eine ungewöhnliche Schärfenverteilung. Eine solche Kamera ist für die Produktfotografie sehr von Vorteil. Als Hochzeits- und Portraitfotografin benutze ich keine Fachkamera. Aber es war dennoch eine interessante Erfahrung diese zum fotografieren von „pink Make-up“ zu verwenden.
